A few weeks ago, the lovely Clare from Sparkle Blossom & Beauty hosted a twitter chat with The Quintessential, a company who sell wholesale gifts, household items and accessories to shops and traders. One of the brands they stock is Collier Campbell - they offer a range of bold and unusual prints on a huge range of items. During the twitter chat, The Quintessential generously provided a number of prizes to people taking part. I was lucky enough to win this beautiful iPad case that I had chosen as my favourite item from their website.
This is the "tropical birds" print and it's based on a hand painted vintage design. The inside is just as pretty:
The bird keyring on the zip is a really cute touch:
Now - one little problem. I don't have an iPad. When I chose this, I had something else in mind. I thought it would make an amazing Kindle/book case! The zipper at the front is handy for bookmarks and pens, and the main pocket easily fits my Kindle fire and my book review notebook.
I think that this could be used as a clutch too - It would be gorgeous with a purple or baby blue dress for an occasion. Nobody would ever know its intended purpose!
I wasn't asked to write this, just wanted to spread a little love for a really nice brand.
Yay so happy you love your prize from the twitter party! I actually just got a tablet for my bday so gonna have to get my hands on one too, trying to decide which one is the hard part! X
ReplyDeleteThe prints are all so lovely! Thanks again for the chat Clare xx
DeleteWHY are ipad cases always so nice? And they're the first things to be discounted in Arnotts + Brown Thomas. Don't really have a use for 'em at all - although my mam got a beaut one in TK Maxx that works as a clutch.
ReplyDeleteI know! I can never find a nice case for my kindle, but there are loads for iPads. I deffo think some of them could work as a clutch or as a huge pencil case or makeup bag!
DeleteVery pretty and sturdy too!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, it's lovely x
DeleteI think this is super cute! I may have to get one for my iPad! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for reading! x
DeleteSuper cute case - I love your book review notebook too! You're so organised with your reading. I'm usually snoring in bed with the paperback lying on my face, one paragraph in...

Thanks Becca! I'm really anal about writing book reviews, I have notebooks full of quotes and bits and bobs, it's a total addiction! Oh sometimes I just fall asleep after a few pages too x
DeleteI love it. So pretty and functional too.
ReplyDeleteIt is very pretty x
