Twinsie Tuesday - Dotticure

Not Sponsored/No Samples

Hi!

Happy New Year to all my fellow Twinsies! I think the December break did us all a world of good, we're all excited about the new prompts for the year and seeing what each other comes up with.

For the first prompt of 2016, it's a dotticure.

I always manage to make dots look childish, no matter how I do them.......and this is no exception. *Chandler Bing Voice* -  could there BE any more dots on there?

Nope. I tried.

I used a base of OPI 'My Vampire is Buff' and then KIKO 401, a gorgeous holographic polish, on a dotting tool to make dots. To me, that looked like scales or mould so I went in with a hot pink - Revlon's 'African Tea Rose' and did some tiny dots with a cocktail stick both in an around the KIKO ones. I finished off with a coat of Essence Gel Top Coat.

I love that KIKO polish, the holographic effect is really strong on it, like the Color Club ones. I should wear it more often!

  1. Haha I'm sure it didn't look like mould! I do like it with the pink dots layered over though :) I'm not great with dots either... Mine are always a bit unevenly spaced or slightly different sizes :p
