I thought I'd do a quick review of one of the latest Catrice foundations, I've used it almost every day since I bought it and I always get questions about it when I mention it on Snapchat, so here's a look at it in action.
I bought this in Penneys about a month ago, it was €8.50. It's available in four shades, Even Ivory, Even Vanilla, Beige Rosé and Even Sand. I picked up Even Vanilla, I assumed it was the lightest shade but Even Ivory is lighter and seems to lean more towards the pink side whereas this is more yellow.
It contains SPF 25, and is a medium-high coverage foundation. I found the texture very similar to Esteé Lauder's Double Wear, and a similar level of coverage from two light coats. This is reported to lighten pigmentation marks over a period of 12 weeks.
No foundation on the left, one coat with no concealer on the right. It definitely evens out any redness I have, and while it doesn't cover dark circles completely, I wouldn't really expect any foundation to do that on its own. Here's a half and half face - no foundation on the left, foundation on the right:
It's a high coverage foundation, and it lasts well. I've been using a lot lately, especially on days when I have lots to do or places to go. I'm really happy with the coverage, and would definitely recommend it. I know this sounds weird - but if you slightly tilt your screen you can see my redness and freckles in the before photos, and how they're really evened out in the after ones. I'm definitely going to buy Even Ivory too and see if it's much lighter.
Have you tried anything from the new Catrice range yet? I bought the concealer on Thursday so I'll have a review of that soon too.
