Nail The Look: Margot Robbie's Holiday Nails

Hi!

I've a big folder full of celebrity nail looks that I want to recreate, so I thought I'd start doing the odd one or two here in a "Nail the Look" series. If it's anything like any of my other series', I'll forget about it in about three weeks time, but sure we'll give it a go.

First up - Margot Robbie.

Margot Robbie is probably best known for playing Donna in Neighbours, but has really made her mark in Hollywood over the past few years. As well as a role in Pan Am (which I LOVED), she has landed a couple of great film roles - including one in the recent Wolf of Wall Street.

A few weeks ago, she posted this picture on her Instagram account.

I loved the look of her nails, so I decided to do them myself!

Or a tribute to them, anyway.

My little nail looks horrendous on camera but I swear it wasn't that bad in real life - I just can't capture it properly, whether it's the topcoat on the bottom or what. Anyway - the blue is Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream, the red is Essence Redvolution, the black is just a regular no-name black and the white is Rita Ora for Rimmel White Hot Love (which is, in my humble opinion, one of the best budget white polishes on the market at the minute).

I love the stripes and anchors, I'll definitely be doing those again. Palm trees and weird diamondy-cloud-blobs? Not so much.

    1. Thanks Lorraine :)x The anchor wasn't as hard to do as I thought it would be - it's just a curve, a line out of it, then the little arms. The striping tape was harder to manage! x
