A while ago, I bought a load of different glitters on eBay with the intention of using them for nail art and frankening. I got a selection of different ones from this seller. I chose to get mine in little bags, but they come in pots too.
I've said it before - I'm a marketer's dream. I would never, ever wear a lime green polish, but whack a name like ACid/DC on it (hello Catrice) and I'm all over it. It's the name that attracts me first, I cannot bear polish with no names (sometimes I make names up for them, yes, I'm that sad). While choosing my 12 glitter options on that eBay listing, I knew I had to have both dark blues. Why? Because they were named blue steel.

If they were named 'dark blue', would I have bought them? Probably not. I'm a fool. Anyway, turns out both blue steels were pretty nice, and went perfectly with one of my favourite (sadly discontinued) nail polishes, It Blue My Mind by Catrice.
One coat of my trusty Essence basecoat, one of IBMM, one coat of topcoat, dip the tips into the fine glitter, then place the large hex glitters on with an orange stick, et voilĂ : Glitter-tastic disco ball nails.
I loved this, I want to try it again over black using different colours of hex glitters.

No-named polish drives me up the WALL. Even 'blue' or 'red 1' would do but to have nothing.... aagh! Thanks for reading xx
DeleteThose nails are fab, and I love a quirky product name too xo
