Makeup Savvy 15 Day Nail Challenge Day 1: Bright

Hi! Happy August!

I've been dying to do another nail polish challenge for ages, I had so much fun doing the 31-day Challenge last year (fun, tantrums, what's the difference?!) - considering that my nail polish collection has changed a lot since then, I thought it would be fun to do this one. I'm growing out a break on my middle fingernail, but I didn't put an acrylic tip on because I find them really hard to work with when I have to change the polish so often! Think of it as a guide to how my challenge looks work on short nails :)

Click the link under the picture above to read Fee's original post on the challenge, which also includes some exciting prize information to be announced after Day 15!

Right, let's kick it off with 'Bright' - the polishes I chose were Barry M 'Lemon Ice Cream' and O.P.I 'Come to Poppy' from the Nice Stems mini collection (recently sent to me in a swap, thank you D!).

For 'bright', I either wanted to do a lightbulb or sunshine, so in the absence of a whole pile of actual sun lately, I went for the sunshine. Here are the outside & inside photographs with no flash:

'Come to Poppy' is such a bright, cheerful colour - it's almost neon. This indoor picture with a flash shows up how bright & vivid it really is, it's an unusual colour :)

And that's it for Day 1! If you want to join in with the challenge, have a look at this post for all the details. Please link to your posts below if you're doing this challenge too, I'd love to see them!
